Welcome to Counseling Kee

My name is Keta (pronounced kee•duh). I am a 10 year classroom teacher, 3 year school counselor and now a Vice Principal. I love education! I am passionate about creating products that inspire student to love learning!

Having a blog was never in my plans. Although, I do enjoy writing – I also know that any form of “journal style” writing is something I am terribly inconsistent with. I have tried to blog about my day-to-day personal life in the past and found that I quickly became distracted. Finally, I came to the conclusion that maybe I am just not passionate about sharing my favorite laundry detergents, recipes, better ways to organize & clean my car or compiling a list of Netflix shows that are absolutely binge worthy! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy reading those posts and look for them all the time on Pinterest, but they just aren’t my passions and areas of expertise. However, I am passionate about education, both looking for fresh ideas and methods and sharing those great ideas!
