Hello World! My name is Keta Cline, aka Counseling Kee! I am completely new to this blogging world. As I mentioned in my “About Me”, I have tried to write about my personal life before, but quickly became bored. I have come to the conclusion, I am simply not passionate about writing about my day-to-day life. I am very passionate about searching for new ideas, engaging activities and ways to support the social and emotional needs to students. So, here I am 🙂

I have over 10 years in education. I was a classroom teacher, primarily in 3rd and 4th grade. I have experience in the classroom ranging from K-12, but I have found that I thrive the best in the 3rd to 4th grade range. Stick with what works, right? 🙂

Currently, I live in northern Nevada. I have been a bit of a wanderer though, as I have also called Texas and Oregon home. Most of my family still lives in Oregon, so there is a huge piece of me that knows that will always be home! I am not married, but I have had the most amazing boyfriend for the past 6 years. I am an Aunt to 5 of the most adorable children – although many others call me “Auntie” too. My oldest niece had a hard time saying Keta, and would instead call me “Auntie Kee” and it just kinda stuck. I have an toy-sized Australian Shepherd dog and a few horses.
